I have never seen a meteor as bright or vibrantly colored as this one. It also appeared to be much closer than any I have seen due to the size, although I don't really know how close it was.

Remarks
Meteor went from bright orange to a much brighter orange/yellow just before and during the end of its trajectory. There seemed to be a small green flash when it split up as well.

Yes
Remarks
It appeared to split into two main sections and possibly a bunch of smaller pieces. It was hard to tell as it happened so quick.
