I am 48 years of age and have observed other objects similar to this, but this one was the largest one I have ever observed and is the only reason that I'm reporting it...

Remarks
When I initially observed the fireball, the object burning in the center appeared to be red in color with a small yellow/pale yellow tail. It then double in size (or maybe slightly larger than 2x) when I assumed it entered our atmosphere. It almost completely burned-out but I lost sight as it dropped below the tree line. I was sitting in my car and about to enter work so I did not hear any type of sound.
