I got a full-on view of this thing. I'm willing to bet I'm one of the only people that got to see it without any occlusion. I was walking on a bike path, away from buildings. It filled the blank night sky with a near-blinding light. I saw it from start to finish. It was so big I actually braced myself for some sort of impact.
