Reports Report 688w (Event 688-2017)

Observer
Name Courtney R
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I'm not sure what I saw. I have no astronomy experience other than just looking up at the stars on occasion. It could've been something someone might have thrown in the air at night to have fun but it just appeared to be too big and bright for that. I was driving down the rode when I saw this green "thing" shoot across the sky (approximately from the south to the north/northwest) that had some red around the back and trailing behind it. It appeared to be big and a lot closer to Earth than the stars. I figured I could at least describe it and let you figure it out. Thanks!
