was driving in town where there are street lights. Despite the local lighting the fireball was very visible, though brief. Did not here any sound associated but I was in a car with the fan on. The fireball appeared at the top of the windshield (from behind line of sight) and disappeared just before the tree line as I was driving east on Main street. appeared to be traveling in a slight east north easterly direction.
