Reports Report 792at (Event 792-2017)

Observer
Name Jon K
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks By far the brightest shooting star/meteorological event I have ever seen. The streak extended over 1/4 - 1/3 of the visible arc of sky. Multiple cars pulled off the highway as the fireball passed overhead. From my apparent position the fireball appeared to be travelling south. I happened to be logging my trip by GPS at 1 second intervals, so I am fairly confident in reporting the location and time. Please feel free to contact me with further questions! One of the most incredible phenomena I have _ever_ observed.
