Remarks | It was the most exciting thing I've seen in a while. I was walking my dog up Emerald Lake Rd, almost due West and noticed it after waving at my neighbor. It was hurling almost over us at that point and flew by w/ a seemingly flat horizontal trajectory, heading east toward the coast. It disappeared past the nearby tree line on Rawlinson Rd. It was so low and large, I stopped to listen to it, but could not hear anything. I counted one-1,000..., afterwards and estimated 5-6 seconds for it to cover my entire view of the sky, before it was occluded by the trees. I remember thinking, "Man, that seemed like it was only 5,000 ft high." |
