Remarks | I have seen meteors and once, what I suspect was a fireball (white light, very large, close to the horizon), but nothing that equaled this! It was astounding, and took a moment to even realize what was happening. It was a very dark night on a dirt road; suddenly, the road lit up a light green. It took a moment to realize what had happened, and to look up and see what actually appeared to be one larger green ball followed close behind by a somewhat smaller green ball with a "tail" of light behind it. It happened very quickly, and then was gone. It was startling and absolutely amazing. |
