From Marlborough to the NW to west direction I was looking -- I estimate being able to see into eastern NY state at the height of the meteor -- I have watched two space shuttle night launches from Marlborough and realize you can see quite a distance if the sky is clear as it was that Saturday night -- I hate to say it -- but now I am not sure that it did not take place on Saturday April 15 -- I checked the local weather forecast records and it now appears that Saturday was overcast at the 11 PM hour so this viewing was Friday April 14, 2017 at about 11 PM (could have been a few minutes before 11 PM)

Remarks
saw (at a bout 11 PM on April 15) a bright (brighter than any star in the sky) green meteor low in NW sky from Marlborough MA it appeared to break up (5 or 6 pieces) before disappearing into the horizon It lreminded me of a July 4 firework. It was traveling very very fast.
