I've observed meteor showers and the occasional shooting star but this one put them ALL to shame! Amazing site! My family and I were traveling down I-49 south-bound just north of Shreveport around 12-1AM when the fireball exploded down brilliantly through the cloud layer! We all saw it and immediately were taken back. It was definitely a once in a lifetime sight.
