This is my second bolide and only my third fireball I've ever seen. This one seemed so close. For a split second I thought it was a plane until it streaked across the sky turning into a brilliant green ball then exploding into smaller green bright fragments. Then it was over and the four of us were thrilled at such a sight! My neighbors said they'd never seen anything like it.

There was definitely an explosion of fragments. My husband snd my neighbor's and I saw the bright green fragments. The biggest piece was like a large bright green fling star.

It went from bright yellow-white to bright green as it arched to the right (south to west) ending in bright green fragments! My neighbor's walking their dogs witnessed it too, and my husband saw the ending of it as all I could do was point and shout for him to look. It was brilliant!!
