Reports Report 2649a (Event 2649-2017)

Observer
Name Chris P
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks It was mostly obscured by a large pine, but I filled everything out to the best of my ability. The time is absolutely right on, it was so weird I made sure to look at my phone right away to get the time. It was bright enough that it lit up the area a bit, I was mostly in the dark when it happened. The brightness varied over the 1.5-2 seconds it lasted and the pops I heard along with the static or hissing sound probably corresponded to the light fluctuations (though they trailed it somewhat with sound being slower than light and all). It was not very loud, but easily heard at night outside.
