Reports Report 3923u (Event 3923-2017)

Observer
Name Heather A
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was driving in the car when I saw the fireball on my way to field to observe meteor shower and am not certain of time down to the minute but it was between 9:30pm and 10:15pm. I never saw any meteors the rest of the night, but I did see a strange orange orb kind of bobbing through the sky for about 5 minutes I saw this at 10:15pm. It also had no sound that I could hear. This was only the second fireball I've ever seen and was the first time I have ever seen an object behaving like an aircraft that did not appear to be an aircraft. I had three other adults and my 11 year old son with me and we all witnessed the orb but only myself and the other driver witnessed the fireball.
