Reports Report 4093b (Event 4093-2017)

Observer
Name Stephenie R
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks Facing North and a few degrees West I was looking at the slightly foggy horizon between the trees in my neighbourhood while awaiting my Uber driver's arrival. Roughly 12:35am on October 30th, 2017 I saw a decently good sized comet or fireball fall through the sky directly parallel with the direction I was facing. It was extremely bright, nearly lit up the sky almost as bright as the moon. The light trail it created wasn't a fading trail most tiny "shooting stars" create, I almost thought I could see a flame-like trail. It seemed big enough to see the actual rock burning as it was falling. The sighting lasted no more than 3 seconds. It was something I had never seen with my own eyes, it almost seemed like something someone would see in a movie, but this wasn't a movie, or a dream, I was wide awake.
