Remarks | I was at my house, which is on a hill approximately 70 feet above sea level. I was very close, as I could see flames as it dropped into Netarts Bay, Oregon. I am guessing the orb was maybe 2-3 feet in diameter. But that is just a guess. It was shocking to see a fireball go past my window! At the time I was just sitting in my living room watching TV. The front of the house is almost all big picture windows and sliders facing west with a 180' view of the bay and the Pacific Ocean. My guess is it dropped into the bay! It was that close! I still have goose bumps |
