Reports Report 5386a (Event 5386-2017)

Observer
Name Robert M
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks This is the second one I saw in my life. I saw several meteors in the western sky previous to the sighting and all were close to Orion. This fireball sighting appeared to be 15 to 20 degrees north of Orion and it appeared to dive vertically towards the horizon; maybe a slight southerly tilt on the way down.. This one was hot white with a long bright tail. The previous one many years ago traveled west to east in the northern sky and was close to a dime in size as it passed overhead and I could see fragmentation.
