Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I was walking in a south westward direction on Penrose Cres. in Steinbach, listening to my Ipod so I am not sure if there were any sounds associated with it. I saw the flash over my left shoulder (towards the south east). It almost looked like someone had flashed a light, it happened very quickly. When I turned to look more closely at it (because the flash came from over my left shoulder) it was gone. I was glad to find out that other people had seen the same thing, because I thought it was odd and was wondering what the heck it was. It was wider than a shooting star. The light was wider. It lit up the lower south east sky. The strength of the light was similar to a fire work, but the colour was a blue/green.
