Remarks | My view was very constricted. I was in the house watching a TV that sits on the hearth of my fireplace. On each side of the fireplace, there is a window about 2 feet wide, 4 feet high. My chair is about 12 feet from the windows. the fireplace and windows are on the back of my house which faces west. I did not notice the meteor in the window to the right of the fireplace but I did notice it pass by the window on the left side of the fireplace. So, the path and duration of flight observerd was limited to the width of the window view from where I was sitting. it was extremely bright white. The brightest meteor I have ever seen in my 55 yrs. |
