Reports Report 273o (Event 273-2018)

Observer
Name Edward B
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I saw this and was amazed as it was by far the brightest and most colorful that I have ever seen. I'm middle aged so I have some hours looking up under my belt. Purely out of curiosity I googled my sighting several days later to see if any reports or pictures were available. Then I saw what happened over Michigan on the 16th just four days earlier. That was by far much brighter than what I saw but other than that it was similar in speed with the three color variations, and then vanishing well above the horizon. Several others in this densely populated area must have seen this especially any northbound motorists. I was on foot and fortunate to be facing the right direction at the right time. That may of well been the most impressive sighting I'll ever see since it took near fifty years to reach this event. That green finish sure looked a lot like the green color that a torch sweating copper gets so I'm leaning towards a potential manmade piece of space debris deorbiting.
