Remarks I watched this glow for maybe 8 minutes wondering what it was. That's a LONG time and can't be a meteor. We live by NORAD and DIA and weird stuff happens out here. It was no "normal" plane if it was a man made plane. I thought maybe the brightest star I'd ever scene behind a thin cloud? Then maybe a crescent moon but the top of the cloud was so thick I only saw a piece of the bottom? Drove 12 miles pulled over finally and I live in the middle of nowhere and it is bright bright stars no city lights out here and saw it do this and watched every second. This was no meteor it was moving no faster then an airplane. Meteors are fast. This was something very very strange. It was the most amazing thing I've ever scene and we see a lot in the sky at this farm due to visibility. Started super bright and faded out red with the cloud still visible and like a shake of an etch a sketch... gone.
