Remarks It appeared from nowhere bright blue white and as it crossed the sky developed a red orange tail. It appeared to be arcing downward toward the ground.

Remarks A trail of what appeared to be red orange particles (not a solid streak) started about halfway through my viewing of the object as it continued across the sky and appeared to be arcing. That could however been the horizon rather than the object losing altitude.
