Remarks | I was alarmed at first as it looked like one of those Vandenburg missile tests I see on the coast where I live , but of short duration. It was stunning, and the longest, largest, brightest that I have ever seen. It seemed very large and very near in the twilight sky above Lake Crowley, CA. I am recalling from memory, so there is a slight chance that it occurred the day before the date that I reported, as I was on the McGee Creek Road watching the last light over Crowley Lake every evening from Sunday June 10 through Wednesday June 13, 2018. |
