The fireball was as large as an eraser head in the sky. It was moving fairly straight-down from my perspective. There was a nice green, but small trail coming off it with a secondary spin-off object inside the larger trailer.

I blinked at the point I thought would be impact and braced for what I thought would be a spectacular explosion, but realized that the impact was probably too far over the horizon for me to experience the impact.
