The fire ball was heading almost due south. There was no tail or sparks. It came from behind on the left and "crossed" Rt 1 to the right. I would say it came from 7:00 and left at 1:00. This was in rush hour so i did not look at the clock but was around 6:35-6:37. It was very impressive, low in the sky and only a few seconds. By trade I am a chemist.
