Remarks | I was inside my bedroom facing the westward wall and first saw it out of the corner of my eye through the window. I first noticed because it appeared about as bright as an airplane in the distance, but it was green and was increasing in magnitude. I instantly knew what it was so I ran to the window. It was easy to relocate, it was in the constellation of Taurus. After checking my star chart with where I saw it I would say it started just lower of the star 35 Iam Tau, and continued towards the star 5 Tau. The entire event lasted around four seconds. It was not as bright as a fireball, I have seen one and was in awe at the real enormity of it. It was like I said previously, slightly brighter than an airplanes lights in the not too far distance. |
