Persistent train | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Duration | 5s |
Length | 20° |
Remarks | The train was quite bright, about 1/4 as bright as the object itself. It faded all along the path northward, persisting 5 sec\'s. behind the object. No smoke or persistent after the glow of the train stopped. |
Terminal flash | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | Path of object was probably mostly towards north. Its path across the sky was initially \"flat\", not dropping as it passed west of me. As it went further north, now NW of me, it seemed to slow, and drop. As it was going more like a 45 deg. drop for 1-2 sec, there was an appearance of a sudden brightening, and a circular white light radiating out from its final position...then suddenly dark. Train behind glowed less and less for 4-5 sec. (white-ish). |
