I did not observe it in the sky. It hit the ground and caused a shock wave for two timed minutes. The entire sky lit up bright Red and the boom it made was so loud it sounded like it fell on my house. My husband was on Lake Shasta at the time. He heard the explosion and then indicated that the entire sky over Trinity County lit up bright Red for almost a minute then faded.
