Remarks | It was an amazing experience. I was aware of the Lyrid shower, and was camping with Boy Scouts (I am an adult leader). We were in town so the sky was not very dark, but I did see one meteor about midnight. This morning, at about 8:00 am, the adults were finishing up our breakfast and I was sitting facing north. The flash was bright enough to draw my attention and I watched it streak across the sky and disappear. The person sitting next to me also saw it. |
