Reports Report 588bt (Event 588-2012)

Observer
Name Christopher G
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks It was amazing to witness this rare event and I was so lucky to be outside and looking in the right direction. (North and slightly west). I could hardly believe my eyes, seeing a meteor in broad daylight is something you can only dream about. I was also out watching the Lyrids in the wee hours that same morning, about 5 hours before the massive fireball event. If it had happened then, the entire landscape would have been lit-up and the fireball would have been too bright to look it directly!
