Remarks My wife and I were sitting with friends in their back yard when we saw a blueish green object appear just above the trees in the south. It was moving from east to west. As it went across the sky it appeared to start to split into 2. The object had a fairly long train behind it which was more white in colour. We\'ve seen metorites before but they looked like a falling star due to the distance away and brightness of the object. This was the first time we saw one so large and bright in colour. It took a second to realize what it was. Due to our location we only saw the object for a few seconds before our view was blocked by trees. We went on this webiste to find out if others saw this. As we were sure due to the size of the object others must have.

Remarks As it moved to the west it appeared to be breaking up.
