we saw the visual and a while later we heard a boom and thought it was thunder. There was no lightning and we did not hear any other noise after that

glowing white spectacular tail behind the firing of red blue and violet at the head all appeared and disappeared at the same time. I thought the neighbors across the street had set off fireworks.
