Remarks | It was the first meteor I have ever seen and it was very close to Earth. I was standing outside and saw it coming from the southeast headed in the northwest direction. It was a big blue fireball and once it went over my head it dissipated a few seconds later and I could actually see fragments coming off of it, which describes how low to Earth it actually was. It also gave a distinctive noise of something traveling through the sky at a fast pace; however, it looked like it was traveling at a slow rate of speed. Probably one of the most interesting things I have ever seen. |
