Remarks | Even though the sky was not completely dark after sunset, this meteor seemed very bright with the main color being green, probably a little on the light side in terms of the shade of green. |

Remarks | My view was limited by an opening in the tree I was sitting under and tree tops about 200 feet away. I just happened to be looking at that space when I saw what appeared to be a reddish trail which turned into a bright green ball that started trailing glowing green fragments. At first I thought it was a meteor but then I thought it had to be fireworks because of the intense green color. However, it was immediately obvious that it was not part of a fireworks display, but it resembled a fireworks trail in duration and brightness. Even with my narrow viewing window it was the most impressive meteor I\'ve ever seen. |

Remarks | I saw the transition from a solid piece to green granular appearing fragments. I believe it was still fragmenting when I lost sight of it due to trees. |
