Reports Report 1035k (Event 1035-2012)

Observer
Name Bill
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks Have seen maybe twenty to forty fireballs in my lifetime, (mostly just slightly above a run of the mill meteor) including quite a few during Leonids 2001 from the 8000 foot elevation in Mt. Pinos, Ca area). Have seen five or so large fireballs which were big enough to be visiblly shedding material/sparks as it traveled. This one did that and was in the top three that I have seen...especialy in light of the fact it was not yet completely dark. Dark enough for venus to be out, but not much more. Impressive fireball.
