Initially I thought I was seeing a nearby firework exploding in the sky until I realized how fast it was moving. I was in a very well lit suburban area with a bright moon in the sky and it was still a huge flash!! For a split second I was afraid there had been an accident until I could focus on the shape and watched it streak across the sky and begin to fade. I have never seen anything like this in my life! Amazing!!
