I saw it and believed that it was a botte rocket but it was too big and the trail was going down instead of up and there never was an explosion that blew it apart. It was the largest object I have ever observed falling from the sky. Pretty cool event. I did not say a word to anyone and would not have if I had not seen the story on MSN page about sightings, except on the day after my sighting>
