Remarks Please let me preface this by saying I was walking in a small sized city downtown . We have the orange halogen lights in our city . I saw a bright flash of white light streak above me with what looked to me orangeish ember like material casting off behind it . The white light varied in intensity several times from extremely bright ( a number 18 on your scale) to a less intense light ( a number 10 on your scale ). The fragmentary debris seemed to dissipate almost immediately although it seemed some of the larger bits persisted for as long as a 3/4's of a second.
