Remarks | Brightest random fireball in 25 years. This was not the the 7:55pm fireball! It appeared about 40-50 deg above horizon (top of my windshield) and descended toward the horizon in the ease northeast . My car was facing southeast, I appeared in the upper left corner of front windshield and followed that angle going down. Was watching airplanes approaching Dulles airport for landing while at stoplight. Brighter than Venus, brighter than a large body aircraft with lights on. Was not a plane. Too fast, wrong direction and it was falling |
