Remarks I started as a bright flash of blue light. It lit up the night sky. The initial flash was so bright that it reminded me of a close lightning strike. Lasted a few seconds and then left a blueish red trail that slowly faded over about 20 or so seconds. It was awesome. Just glad I happened to be outside to see it!
