Remarks I had just exited the theater at the conclusion of Dune 2 and had just opened the door of my car to get in when I saw the fireball so I am certain or my exact opsition and observing direction. I've seen lots of meteors. It was the brightest meteor I can ever remember seeing. I waited about 15 seconds to see if there was any kind of boom. The sky was crystal clear at the time. I saw it from when it first started until it faded out. I was hoping it would be a bolide but no joy. Kind of spooky given how Dune 2 ends:-) I'd be amazed if I end up being the only one making a report.
