Remarks | This fireball had a large diameter, maybe the size of a full moon at it's highest point, it didn't have a long tail, the tail was more round than long, the tail was bright white at the end. I reported another similar fireball I believe in the spring of 2017 in Land O Lakes Fl, about 35 miles south from this fireball, that one went parallel with the horizon, it was heading in a east/northeast direction. The colors were similar but the tail was a bit longer, more yellow/orange with maybe a fiery trail, like the tail was breaking up as it went across the sky. Of course it happened fast, I first thought it was a jet exploding. I looked it up online and found that others saw it across the entire state of Florida at about the same time |
