Lightning going on 60 miles to the north clear night sky by me. First I thought airplane landing lights. But the more I kept looking no plane. It's trajectory I would guess was straight towards me because I never saw the lead up of it. Was outside looking for devil comet, only reason I was looking that way. Hope this helps.
