Remarks | Speed and proximity. That was the most imposing take away. I play a ton of high reaction speed shooters, flight sims, and shoot IPSC. I have quick eyes and a good sense for speeds and trajectories. It was a 300-450 ms sighting max. Being able to see the peices break off and the sizzle of the burning aura in that short pass was super unsettling. More like seeing a incoming missle than wishing for a dirtbike. |

Remarks | ~12-16 seconds after it disappeared. I though impact at first but more likely sonic boom?? It looked scary close. I almost want to say I heard it sizzle the air before a boom. It was a low “wummp” that a barely heard but felt in my feet a little. Super feint but it was dead quiet otherwise which made it stand out. |

Observation | Yes |
Remarks | Feint but perceptible green aura that was like a fast pulsing reaction. Didn’t see a big atmo hit flare though just the reaction flaring. |
Fragmentation | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | Two chunks broke off. Each about 1/20th the diameter of the body. First one right at the moment of sighting, second chunk left when it was 2/3 through the sighting track. Both chunks stopped burning once they made it about 3 body diameters away. |
