Remarks I didn't immediately note the time after I seen this. So my calculation of time maybe slightly off. (the deviation would not be greater than 10 or 15 minutes. This is the second meteor or comet that I have seen in a week. Likewise I have only seen these 2 in my lifetime. Last Friday I witnessed what I thought was a big green bright firework and I was waiting to hear a big boom (which I did not). I had later mentioned it to one of my friends, whom happens to head the astronomy club at the college I attend, and she was aware that the comet or meteor had made an impressive appearance. The first one I had seen was much brighter and impressive...in fact, it had startled me. I would have reported that one, but I just stumbled upon this website, and now a week later-my recollection of the exact time is somewhat uncertain with my previous observation.
