Remarks | The sky was very dark last night, and initially the object looked like a single afterburner from a fighter jet, as I have years of experience on them. But it was different, and Dover AFB doesn't have fighter jets here regularly. Also, there was no sound associated with the sighting that led me to believe it was a fighter jet. When I saw a fluctuation in the tail, it lacked the sound of a nozzle actuating - which led me to believe it was a meteor. |
