Remarks | from our point of view, it roughly followed the ecliptic and was visible from between Scutum and Scorpius all the way to the edge of Leo. As it passed Saturn it flickered and disappeared, but it came back a split second later near Mars and Spica. There were about 15 of us in the backyard when the event occurred. |
