Remarks It is probably the biggest and closest meteor I have ever seen. I was with 4 girls that started to scream from being scared of impact of this meteor.

Remarks It went behind the trees which we now thought it was either headed for Arcata or maybe as far as the ocean, but then we heard a huge boom like thunder that rippled throughout the hills where we were at.

Remarks Me and the friends I was with didn't know if it was a delayed boom or the meteor hitting the ground. We thought for sure it was the sound of impact and we tried to go see if it hit Arcata. The sound was louder then thunder.
