Remarks I was driving home from work when I saw a green fireball heading towards the ground. It started fairly high up, and I lost sight of it when it dipped below the tree line. It was moving quite fast and I would say it was heading towards the ground at an angle between 45 and 60 degrees. It had a tail, but the tail didn't stay in the sky for very long; it was dark though so there might've been a lasting trail that I didn't see. The object was a bit smaller than the full moon appears. I'm pretty confident about the directions, but I'm not completely sure about the angles above the horizon. I'm also not 100% sure about the duration, but it was definitely less than 30 seconds.
