Remarks | I'm an amateur astrophotographer so I'm good at recording what I see. BTW, this fireball occurred nearer to 20:30 CST than the incorrect reports that have it at 20:45 CST. I had already posted about what I saw on Twitter by 20:38 CST, and that was several minutes later. Within 3 minutes of the event, I pointed my full frame camera at the sky where I saw the fireball and took two long shutter exposures, but nothing as far as a trail or smoke can be seen in these. Based on my trajectory and the video taken in San Antonio, I estimate the airburst occurred about 300 miles SW of my location and near Del Rio, TX. Thank you, I hope this helps out. |

Remarks | A very wide swath of yellow/green color a little wider than the full moon projected downward toward the ground for a distance of sever moon widths. It then briefly grew dim and then another smaller swath appeared below it. |
