Remarks | I was sitting in our hot tub about 11pm on 2/21/15. Bright light appeared for about 2 seconds like neighbor turning on car lights or helicopter flood light overhead. Saw meteor appear overhead coming from south and traveled rapidly to north. First spotted about overhead due to tree canopy to south. Appeared orange/yellow, bright, concentrated, fragments falling away from it as it sped north. No sound heard but hot tub jets were on. Disappeared to north above horizon. Total sighting less than 5 seconds. |
